Terms of use
idxFlowers gives information only. These terms say what you can do with it.
The information
- Each fact was checked on the date shown next to it. Things change after that date.
- Florists' prices, stock and delivery fees are as stated on their own websites on the date shown. They can change at any time, so check with the florist before you order.
- We are not a florist. Orders are between you and the florist.
Ownership
idxFlowers is a compilation: we select, check, organise and date the information, and write our own descriptions. Our compilation, our own text and the site's design are protected by copyright. Individual facts belong to no one, and the original sources are credited with each fact.
What you're welcome to do
- Read, search and share any page.
- Quote a fact and link to the page it came from. Please cite the original source shown with the fact, too.
- Search engines and AI assistants may index and read these pages, and use them to answer people's questions, with a link back where they can.
- AI assistants may use our query service to answer individual questions, within its fair-use limits.
What isn't allowed without our written permission
- Automated bulk extraction: collecting listings, florists, prices or pages in bulk, by any means (scrapers, crawlers, bots or AI agents), beyond what our robots.txt file allows.
- Republishing substantial parts of the site or the query service's answers, or rebuilding them as a database, directory, dataset or service of your own.
- Using our content to train AI models.
- Getting around the query service's limits or our robots.txt, or presenting our information as if it came from someone else.
We may block access that looks like bulk copying or automated extraction. To report a mistake, see Corrections and removal.
Who runs it
idxFlowers is run by IDXDIRECTORIES LIMITED, a New Zealand company. It isn't a florist and doesn't sell flowers: you order from the florist.
Our responsibility
- We take care to show what florists' own websites say, with the date we checked. We can't promise every detail is correct or still current, so check with the florist before relying on a price, fee, cutoff or stock.
- As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for loss from using this information or from an order you place with a florist. Nothing here limits any rights you have under New Zealand consumer law that can't be excluded.
Our query service for AI assistants
- AI assistants may use it to answer individual people's questions, within its fair-use limits. We may change, limit or stop it at any time.
- Please pass on the dates, labels and caveats it gives. An estimated delivery fee is labelled as an estimate: don't present it as the florist's stated fee.
- The limits above on bulk copying apply to it too.
Law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the courts of New Zealand have jurisdiction.
